Slay is a Manchester MC with roots in the city's grime scene, where he came up as part of the legendary Mayhem Crew before making a natural transition into drum & bass. Known for his intelligent wordplay, distinctive flow and genuine lyrical depth, he has built a reputation across both worlds collaborating with Kasra on Critical Music, Lenzman, Whiney on Hospital Records, Chimpo, DRS and Dogger, among others. His crossover reach was confirmed when 'Closer' with Bou on Island Records accumulated over 76 million streams, while his underground credibility remains intact through releases on V Recordings, Critical and Hospital.
